Harvest time? It’s true! We can now make use of our winter plants for special winter ailments. Juniper berries have a delightful range of uses.  Fresh juniper berries make excellent jams, jellies and desserts.  Dried juniper berries found in the spice aisle are a great accompaniment to vegetable and meat recipes.

Cure Oils sells the essential oil distilled from harvested juniper berries.  Jams and jellies made from fresh juniper berries are often used in winter months to boost an immune system and other health benefits.  The essential oil from juniper berries can also have great benefits for your health.  Traditionally, the essential oil has been used to extract toxins and poisons from the body.  More recently we know that juniper essential oil is helpful for rheumatism, gout and arthritis by easing pain and stimulating circulation and tissue detoxification.
